The winter transfer window has been open for little over a week and things are already hotting up across Europe.

Christian Pulisic’s move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea is undoubtedly the biggest deal so far, and you can read more about that here.

We’ve got a transfer tracker running throughout the window with details of every completed deal so you don’t miss a thing!

Otherwise, there have been rumours aplenty. We’ve rounded up the best of the rumours so far, below, and will be bringing you the biggest headlines each day throughout January.

Premier League


FC Barcelona midfielder Denis Suárez is open to the possibility of a move to Arsenal in January. (Daily Mirror)

The Gunners are also hoping to tie up a deal for FC Porto midfielder Hector Herrera. The Mexican has been subject of interest from AS Roma in the past. (Transfer Market Web via Tuttomercato)

Former Atlético de Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco, now at Chinese side Dalian Yifang, has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal coach Unai Emery this month. (Sky Sports Italia)

Arsenal are also locked in a battle with Manchester United for highly-rated young Cruzeiro goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, 18, who has also attracted interest from Inter and AS Roma. (Teamtalk)


Chelsea have turned to Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuaín in their search for a striker. The Argentine is currently on a season-long loan at AC Milan. (Marca)

The Blues are also interested in signing Milan forward André Silva, who is currently on loan at Sevilla, but the Spanish side want Álvaro Morata in exchange in order for the deal to go ahead. (The Sun)

Cagliari midfielder Nicolò Barella is also a target to replace Monaco-bound Cesc Fàbregas but Chelsea face competition from some of Europe’s top clubs, including Liverpool, Milan, Inter, AS Roma and Napoli. (Daily Express)

Blues owner Roman Abramovich has made Inter captain Mauro Icardi his No.1 transfer target this January. (Daily Mirror)


Liverpool are said to be keen on signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder, Bruno Fernandes – despite the midfielder having a $115million release clause.(A Bola)

Manchester United

Manchester United will have to hold on until the summer to attempt to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. (ESPN)

AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas is another centre-back target for United after it emerged he had a $39million release clause in his contract. (Daily Mirror)

Yet another centre-back the Red Devils are looking at is Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenković, though they would have to send Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira to Florence on loan to sweeten the deal. (The Sun)

Tottenham Hotspur

Midfielder Mousa Dembélé looks set to exit Tottenham after the North Londoners accepted an $11.5million offer from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan (The Sun)

Tottenham are keeping a close eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers right-back Matt Doherty, though his current club could offer him a lucrative new deal to remain with them. (Irish Independent)


Atlético de Madrid

Atleti are said to be extremely interested in Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj, while Chelsea are also interested in the Albanian defender. (CalcioNapoli24 TV)

FC Barcelona

Barça finally look to be closing in on a deal for Ajax prospect Frenkie De Jong with a price of $86million enough to prise the 21-year-old out of the Netherlands. (AS)

The Blaugrana could also move on Brazilian winger Malcom, despite only signing him from Bordeaux in the summer. (Mundo Deportivo)

Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur have set an asking price of $287million for Christian Eriksen in an attempt to put off Real Madrid. (AS)

Serie A

AC Milan

Milan sporting director Leonardo is targeting Stefano Sensi of Sassuolo, Yannick Carrasco of Dalian Yifang and Genoa hot-shot Krzysztof Piątek to bolster Gennaro Gattuso’s squad for the second half of the season. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Tottenham will battle London rivals Chelsea for Milan midfielder Franck Kessié if the Rossoneri fail to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. (Tuttomercato)

AS Roma

Roma have had a $17million bid rejected for Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite. Both the Giallorossi and Tottenham are said to be interested in the French player. (Calciomercato)


Inter are looking at the possibility of cashing in on Manchester United target Ivan Perišić in order to fund a move for his Croatia team-mate Luka Modrić who currently plays at Real Madrid. (Tuttosport)

The Nerazzurri are ‘on the verge’ of completing the signing of Atlético de Madrid captain Diego Godín, 32, on a free transfer. (The Sun)

Meanwhile, Inter have been ‘offered’ Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia on a free transfer. His contract Old Trafford expires this summer. (The Sun)

FC Bayern

FC Bayern have upped their offer for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi to $45million having seen their first bid rejected. (The Guardian)

Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund appear to be the latest club linked with Germany and RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner. The forward only has 18 months remaining on his contract. FC Bayern and Liverpool have also both been linked. (BILD)

Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a move for AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini in the summer as a replacement for Adrien Rabiot who is set to leave on a free transfer. (Gianluca Di Marzio)

Les Parisiens have been boosted in their chase for Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré after the midfielder issued a come-and-get-me plea to his hometown club. (The Sun)

Olympique Lyonnais
