Tottenham Hotspur to defend International Champions Cup crown

The International Champions Cup is back this summer and Relevent is delighted to announce reigning champions Tottenham Hotspur will be returning to defend their crown.

Spurs won the 2018 International Champions Cup title x Inter won at Atlético de Madrid in the tournament's final fixture.

The 2019 competition will be the fourth in which Spurs have appeared in. The eight-time FA Cup winners will be determined to retain their International Champions Cup title, a feat only Paris Saint-Germain have managed.

Spurs came from behind to beat AS Roma 4-1 in the SDCCU Stadium, San Diego, on their way to success last summer. Their second match, in a packed-out Rose Bowl, Pasadena, saw Mauricio Pochettino’s team come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with LaLiga juggernauts FC Barcelona.

They finished at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota where they defeated AC Milan 1-0 with a goal from Georges-Kévin Nkoudou.
