The Krzysztof Piątek transfer saga is finally over. After the 24-year-old Polish striker's future was up in the air for much of January, having been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United and a host of other clubs across Europe, a surprise candidate emerged and struck a deal with AC Milan for his services.
Piątek links up with former US Soccer Men's National Team boss Jürgen Klinsmann, current Hertha BSC manager. After scoring 13 goals in just 19 games for Genoa, Piątek earned a move to AC Milan last January.
This season has been less productive, with just 4 goals coming in 18 Serie A appearances. That, along with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimović for his second AC Milan spell, means it's time to move on for Piątek.
