The wait is almost over! This week we announced the teams who will contest the 2019 International Champions Cup and it's another stellar line-up.
Reigning International Champions Cup champions Tottenham Hotspur are back to defend their crown after topping the standings in 2018 and they're joined by a host of Europe's biggest clubs.
The team with more European Cup and UEFA Champions League wins than anyone else, Real Madrid, are just one of the headline acts heading to this summer's tournament.
Serie A champions Juventus return for another year and, powered by the goals of legendary Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, they could well arrive at the tournament as UEFA Champions League winners.
Manchester United will have something to say about that, though. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjær the 20-time English title winners are a force to be reckoned with and will fancy their chances of a repeat of their 1999 triumph over FC Bayern – after all, Solskjær was the hero that night too!
And talking of the Bavarians, they'll be back this summer too. The current Bundesliga leaders and holders are confirmed to attend this summer's tournament.
This summer's tournament will see history made as Chivas make their International Champions Cup debut. The Liga MX side boast a glittering trophy cabinet already – could they add yet more silverware?
Milanese rivals Inter and AC Milan only met last weekend in a fierce Derby della Madonnina and they'll both be at this summer's International Champions Cup once more to bring some Italian flair to proceedings.
The fourth and final Serie A side attending this summer are AS Roma. Back after impressing in 2018, the Giallorossi boast one of the most exciting young rosters in Europe and will be a big draw once more.
Atlético de Madrid are serial winners and twice beaten UEFA Champions League finalists in the last five years. Diego Simeone's side will participate once more, and with FIFA World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann spearheading their attack, they'll be hard to stop!
Premier League giants Arsenal are signed up to take part once again after wowing crowds in Singapore in 2018 and will look to build on an impressive first season under the guidance of new head coach Unai Emery.
Rounding off the teams are Benfica. Currently locked in an intense battle for the Primeira Liga with rivals FC Porto, the Águias are one of the most exciting young sides in Europe at the moment.
The official tournament launch takes place on March 27, 10am EST. Hollywood star Jason Sudeikis will host the event as the tournament schedule and venues are announced at 107 Grand Street, New York – and you can sign up for pre-sale access below!
