NEW YORK (July 11, 2017) - The International Champions Cup (ICC) and Relevent Sports announce today their ICC Fan Passport app. This unique social rewards program incentivizes fans to participate in various activities throughout the 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken® and share their interactions on social media platforms, amplifying their experience on each network. The fifth installment of the world’s premier summer soccer tournament brings the strongest line-up to date, with eight of the world’s most celebrated clubs facing off at renowned venues across the United States.

By engaging with club and sponsor activations throughout each ICC Fan Fest and Casa Clásico at Bayfront Park, fans can earn badges which can be redeemed for exclusive ICC merchandise and experiences such as jerseys, pre-game field passes and seat upgrades. This will be featured throughout the tournament, leading up to and throughout the biggest match in International Champions Cup history FC Barcelona and Real Madrid C.F. meet on July 29, 2017 at Hard Rock Stadium for El Clásico Miami. Those who participate in ICC Fan Passport will also receive access to exclusive content including the Rep Your Club Meme Generator, interactive Club social pages, and a lightshow that allows fans to showcase their team pride while lighting up the sky at select ICC matches!

Fans can begin earning badges today by downloading the free app in the App Store or Google Play. RFID encoded wristbands can be collected at various locations throughout Casa Clásico at Bayfront Park. Brand ambassadors can assist app users at all ICC Fan Fests to enable check-ins at designated ICC activations. Fans can redeem badges to enter the scan-to-win contest at each gameday Fan Fest and Casa Clásico.

The 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken® will run from July 19 – 30 and feature 12 matches played across 11 cities throughout the United States. In total, eight teams from around the globe, including England (Manchester United F.C., Manchester City F.C., Tottenham Hotspur F.C.), Italy (Juventus F.C., AS Roma), France (Paris Saint-Germain F.C.) and Spain (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid C.F.) will compete in this year’s tournament.
